How the Signitic integration with Salesforce works
Signitic sends signatures to Salesforce users enabled on the connector. Prepare the content in Signitic, then enable updates to bring it into the CRM. An administrator account and API permissions authorise the connection.
Check the Salesforce signitic_signature field: standard users and administrators must be able to edit it. After a change in Signitic, force an update or wait until the next morning to check the CRM result.
How to activate it
A Salesforce administrator account and API permissions are required. Users must be active in Signitic to receive their signatures.
- Add Salesforce from the Signitic connectors.
- Sign in with a Salesforce administrator account and grant API access.
- Enable signature updates and check that the relevant users are active.

Managing signatures and using them in Salesforce: what is the difference?
Signitic is where you prepare signature content and design. Salesforce remains the tool your teams use to communicate with contacts. The connector brings these activities together: a prepared signature needs to be linked to the right users, with updates enabled, to be applied in the CRM.
Here are two practical situations showing how this connection fits into your organisation.
Practical example 1: You change your logo. Prepare the signature in Signitic, then force an update for active Salesforce users or wait for the next morning’s sync.
Practical example 2: A salesperson’s signature does not appear. Check their Signitic status and the Salesforce signitic_signature field permissions, which must allow editing by standard users and administrators.
